How much?
What a great question. The short, good answer to this is “How long is a piece of string?” We’re not trying to be snarky. We literally need to know what this animal is going to be before we can give you a viable answer. And you wouldn’t want it any other way (because the other way is for us to guess - and that means we will all be disappointed).
Can you at least give me a hint about costs?
Yes. Once we’ve had that “no obligation” briefing call, we can at least get you to a ballpark number within a short while - based on similar projects we’ve successfully completed. While it will be an educated guess, it will help you know better what to budget for from any competent firm (You hear numbers that are significantly higher - or lower - than what we say, you should raise questions about that firms’ abilities.)
What am I not asking that I should be asking?
While we do have some really smart guys working on this stuff for you, we also have award winning graphic designers that can make your cool project and marketing elements presentation ready for your buyers and/or investors. We pride ourselves on helping the inventor have a polished look that brings confidence to all that encounter the app or widget.
These designers are well versed in Brand Development, User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design, so you can spend your valuable cycles on getting your item to market instead of doing anything you may not have been trained to do.
What do I need to get started?
All those long hours (and years) you’ve invested to make this dream project of yours a reality won’t be wasted if you can get in our heads what you have in yours. Not to worry. There are tools we use to help that process. The first of them is a conversation - preferably in person, but video conferencing will work as well. Can you just start at the “prototype” stage?
Yes. With your unlimited budget, we are happy to start prototyping immediately. Perchance you don’t have unlimited resources, we recommend trusting the proven development process we have. We will all be more satisfied, and you will save money. A lot of money.

If we do this dance, what are next steps in your process?
Any good firm will follow something similar. Look for it.
We do a bit of discovery via meetings or calls (so we can understand as much as possible and really get behind what you are doing.) We will likely ask you a lot of questions in this part.
That leads to research on our part to see where your budget will be best invested. (You want this bit of upfront planning - it saves a lot on the backend.)
We reveal our findings to you and make a production plan. You will have some deliverables assigned to you as well - they will ensure we are all able to keep the calendar and financial budgets contained. This stage only works if you stay in contact with us. Not doing so will delay your deliverables significantly.
Ideation comes next. Here’s where you begin to see things come together for your product. From this imagination of “what will this animal look like - number of legs, how fast it has to go (or slow), what it looks like at resting state, etc., we can get to the crucial next stage:
Prototyping. Now we see all that excellent thinking from you and us come into a tangible form.
Hand over the app or widget to your production team (we can recommend some trusted partners if you do not have some in mind already).
